POSITION SUMMARY

Under Supervision a Pumping Specialist 1 is required to assist the Pumping Specialist, Sr with supervising the pumping operations and coordinating the rig up and rig down. This position will assist with performance feedback for Operators, field ticketing, bonus sheets, as well as transport equipment to and from location as needed. The position will be expected learn and perform QA/QC procedures and have basic customer service skills. Perform all duties in compliance with Customer and Company policies and procedures and applicable regulations. Actively participates in safety meetings to identify and address risks and hazards. Performs other duties as assigned. Skills are typically acquired by completion of the Competency requirements. Typical requirements include a High School Diploma / G.E.D or applicable relevant experience and two (2) years of oilfield experience.


Key Accountabilities

  • Assist Pumping Specialist Senior with developing the operating procedures and job safety.
  • Assist with the execution of pump operations.
  • Interact with customer and 3rd party personnel.
  • Coordinate the rig up and rig down with guidance from the Pumping Specialist, Sr.
  • Comply with company SOPs and coordinate any necessary changes in the job scope.
  • Assist Pumping Specialist SR with employee performance feedback and recommendations to management.
  • Assist Pumping Specialist SR with preparation of job reports to customer and management.
  • Assist Pumping Specialist SR by communicating with maintenance personnel on equipment status to prevent unnecessary equipment down time.
  • Assist Pumping Specialist with supervision of the crew.
  • Assist with Field Ticketing and bonus sheets.
  • Transport heavy equipment to and from locations.
  • Perform all duties in compliance with Customer and Company policies and procedures, along with applicable regulations.
  • Actively participates in safety meetings to identify and address risks and hazards.
  • Perform other tasks and duties as assigned.
  • Utilizes competency processes to enhance job performance.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Knowledge of pump operations.
  • Knowledge of and Compliance with DOT rules and regulations.
  • Knowledge of the Journey Management process.
  • Written and Verbal Communication skills.
  • Knowledge of SOPs.
  • Knowledge of field ticketing process and procedure.
  • Knowledge of company policies, Quality and HSE standards and departmental guidelines.
  • Ability to coach and mentor.
  • Ability to supervise crew members.
  • Ability to drive Commercial Vehicles.
  • Customer Service Skills.
  • Ability to conduct pre and post safety meetings.
  • Proficient with data acquisition systems.

Minimum Required Education

  • H.S. Diploma - Required, or
  • G.E.D. - Required, or
  • Applicable Experience - Required

Minimum Required Work Experience

  • Minimum of 1 year oilfield experience - Required

Licenses and Certifications

  • Must have a valid CDL A driver’s license with the proper endorsements required for the type vehicle operated, issued by state of residence. - Required
  • Skills are typically acquired by completion of the competency.
