IT Business Consultant I
Key responsibilities include:
• Responsible for design, implementation, and sustain of enterprise SAP based Finance applications and related services which support Finance business functions.
• Lead efforts to understand, design, build, implement and sustain best practice Finance solutions
o Lead Design efforts to sustain and improve the business process.
o Work with users and team members to understand business processes and requirements.
o Review existing documentation to understand system design and implementation standards.
o Utilize knowledge of best practices to design IT solutions to meet new and evolving requirements.
o Oversee configuration of SAP to meet design specifications and business requirements.
• Act as a Subject Matter Expert to recommend and implement solutions to drive improvements for the functional area. Evaluate alternative procedural and systematic solutions that meet needs while maintaining business standards.
o Provide SME expertise in Process Assessments, evaluate current and desired state.
o Consult with business users on system capabilities.
o Document solution requirements and alternative analysis.
o Recommend solutions to meet business requirements and standards.
• Collaborates with other Enterprise Application Services teams and external partners to achieve high quality integrated solutions.
• Plan and lead projects and overall designs, providing leadership and consulting to project teams to deliver project results. Track progress, communicate milestones and resolve issues.
o Works with business partners to support, identify, gather information, and develop solutions for existing sustain issues and new business requirements.
o Review designs and specifications.
o Develops functional requirements.
o Drives and organizes estimates for complex and integrated development of application solutions.
o Drives standardization of provided solutions.
o Tests highly integrated business solutions, ensuring quality and effectiveness.
o Support go-live and implementation of IT improvements.

• Oversees functional area application performance. Ensures service levels are consistent with business requirements and operational goals.
• Facilitates delivery of 24x7 application support, proactively reduces sustain efforts through monitoring, automation, and problem management.

• Provides leadership towards fulfilling on-time delivery commitments to customers.

• Provides leadership and mentoring for continuous quality improvement.
• Maintains the integration and secures integrity of Finance Operating Model design and enabled benefits.

Knowledge and Experience:
Functional Skills:
• 10 years IT experience.
• Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Understanding of the Finance Operating Model design and enabling technology.
• Project Management skills.
• Skilled in process management; can translate output of process assessments into clearly defined gap and proposed resolution.
• Strong negotiating and conflict management skills.
• Excellent vendor management skills.
• Broad and deep business process knowledge of the supply chain Operating Model; able to lead and contribute to design and build process and functional deliverables.
Technical Skills:
• BS or related required, Masters preferred (major in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration preferred).
• 10 Years SAP Financial modules
• Strong background in Finance process areas and experience with ECC 6 FICO: FI (AP, AR, GL, TR, IM), CO (CCA, COPA, COPC), PS, Asset Management, and BPC modules.
• Experience with SAP S4/HANA is a plus
• Depth, breadth, and technical experience in configuration and prototyping of multiple modules and applications of SAP and able to lead and participate in technical design and build discussions.
• Strong background in managing through complex methodologies.
