Signant Health has embarked on an Enterprise IT application improvement strategy to “Enable Your Best Work”. We’re currently searching for an IT Solutions Architect with Enterprise Applications expertise, especially the Atlassian Suite, to work as part of the Enterprise Solution Services team. The ideal candidate will have experience as an IT Solutions Architect with a passion for continuous improvement and automation. You must also demonstrate proficiency in analyzing and architecting strategic solutions for Signant Health’s Enterprise Applications.

As part of our team, your Key Accountabilities:   

•  Design and implement long-term strategic goals and short-term tactical plans for managing and maintaining Enterprise Applications.
• Ensure that proposed and existing architecture aligns with organizational goals and objectives.
• Responsible for design and development of Enterprise Applications to meet business needs based upon provided requirements.
• Provide architectural expertise, direction, and assistance to Application Engineers.
• Review high level business needs and then meet with stakeholders, if needed, to define business requirements for complex systems and infrastructure development.
• Create detailed architecture diagrams and technical specifications for application engineer implementation.
• Optimize enterprise applications by driving new technologies to ensure the applications stay up-to-date and continue to satisfy customer needs.
• Provide guidance to application engineers during implementation of projects, if needed.
• Assist with implementation peer review, if needed.
• Work directly with internal/external developers, to drive and coordinate larger projects while assisting with execution.
• Provide training to individuals and user groups within the company, when needed.
• Keep up with advancements in application engineering and new technologies to help drive business process improvements.
• Advocate, educate and document as a subject matter expert and a promoter for best practices within Application Engineers team, super user groups, and business process owners.
• Support integration solutions associated with Enterprise Applications by providing API system knowledge or designing new code.
• Work with application engineers and testers to determine proper test plans for solutions.

You’ll need to bring::-

•  Minimum of 4 years of experience as an applications solutions architect at the enterprise level, with a prior experience of 5-10 years at a applications engineer
• Solid grounding in core enterprise applications, including Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Netsuite, SalesForce.
• Extensive experience in developing strategic systems architecture plans.
• Hands-on experience with business requirements gathering/analysis.
• Familiar with BDD (Behaviour Driven Development) Framework
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related IT discipline, or knowledge acquired through equivalent experience.
• Solid understanding of designing engineering solutions
• Working experience with Application APIs
• Pragmatic problem-solver, possessing outstanding attention to detail and a proven ability to break problems down and resolve them efficiently.
• A clear and effective communication style when providing updates on support requests as well as project status updates.
• Approachable and knowledgeable communication style with all levels of co-workers
• Great organizational and time management skills.
• The ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced, and feedback-driven environment.
• Ability to work well with remote team members. 

We’d be thrilled to hear that you also have: 

• Atlassian certifications preferred (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, etc.)
• An understanding of and ability to troubleshoot SSO and SCIM provisioning.
• Experience working in an Agile environment with strong teamwork experience.
• Understanding of ITIL framework (Incident, Change, Demand and Release Management)
