Administrative Project Assistant - Indiana Alliance
GENERAL FUNCTION:
The Administrative/Project Assistant is responsible for providing support to Indiana Alliance of YMCAs’ (Alliance) financial consultants and staff as a result of the Lilly Endowment Strengthening Indiana Ys funding. This position is funded through a 3-year grant. Primary responsibilities include assisting with Alliance events and meetings, provide administrative support to financial consultants, marketing and communication, and other general office functions.
*This is a 3 year position based on grant funding
KNOW HOW:
Minimum of three years of experience in administrative or project management role preferred
Strong project management skills with a proven track record of effectively multitasking and a high attention to detail
Must be a self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity, proactive in approach, and possess problem-solving and analytical skills to successfully manage issues that have no precedent
Possess excellent written and oral communication skills, with outstanding interpersonal communication skills
Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds
Ability to work collaboratively with a team as well as independently
Proficient in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint); technically proficient with web-based platforms
Highly motivated and innovative
Familiarity with the YMCA movement, culture, mission, and purpose.
