Welcome to Hytrol Careers
As a Summer Intern with the Hytrol Engineering Department you will partner with members of our Engineering staff to support one of our specialized teams in Process Engineering.  You will develop your engineering skills through job assignments, improve industry knowledge, and contribute to your professional development, while supporting a variety of industries across the word.  The Hytrol Intern Program begins in late May and ends the last week of July.  Interns work approximately 40 hours each at an hourly rate to be determined.  Housing may be provided for non-local interns.

Process Engineering:
A Process Engineer works closely with production departments to identify areas of improvement and develop processes to improve flow in manufacturing.  Industrial Engineers communicate with the manufacturing management team to implement and complete cost saving projects.  This may include anything from designing a new process that makes the job easier to do or designing specialized tools and equipment that could help an operator complete a task more efficiently.  They monitor and report scrap activities and research equipment related to capital improvement.
