Kitchen and Bath Showroom Consultant

If so, then McDonald Supply Rapid City - Kitchen and Bath Showroom would like you to join our dedicated team as our Showroom Consultant. Our team has been servicing the community for years. We are a close-knit group that works together to provide the best service to both new and existing customers. While Rapid City is best known for its proximity to national parks and enormous mountain carvings, including Mount Rushmore just 40 kilometers away, it has a charming and historic downtown and a salute to American Indian heritage in southwestern South Dakota.
As a Showroom Consultant, your specific duties will include but are not limited to:
- The Showroom Sales Consultant will perform day to day sales while working with customers in a showroom environment to provide them with choices of plumbing fixtures for their projects
- Provides attention to detail with strong follow-up skills and motivation to ensure customer satisfaction
- Deliver timely, well-prepared and professional quotes
- Welcome customers and answers telephone calls
- Work with customers and contractors in planning and product selection
- Maintain accurate and organized customer files
- Work with outside salespeople to assist in job quotes
- Coordinate the ordering, receiving and delivery of products in a timely manner
All interested applicants must possess:
•High school degree or equivalent
•2 years industry experience
•Outstanding customer service and communication skills
•Basic computer literacy
•The ability to maintain positive relationships with team members, vendors, and customers
Our ideal candidate will also:
•Have a comprehensive knowledge of kitchen and bath fixtures and/or some plumbing knowledge
•Wholesale distribution experience
•The determination and drive to prospect new customers
•Possess the drive to assist team members with other tasks as required
