Job Title: Client Coordinator ( Drug & Alcohol)

Department: Lebanon

Reports to: Manager of Operations

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Position Summary: Provides administrative support for the Lebanon operations to include running randoms, answering phones, e-mailing, client coordination and other administrative duties. Handles testing & collection needs for walk-in donors.


Essential functions and responsibilities:

Walk-In Collections

• Perform urine and alcohol collections that come into the office

• Take picture of all donors testing for CCS or reciprocal program if necessary

• Verify donor ID prior to performing urine collection

• Verify reason for test (PE, PA, AN, R, RS, RTD, or FU).

• Perform urine drug screen collections per program requirements for pre-employment, random, annual, reasonable suspicion, post-accident, return-to-duty and follow-up drug testing

• Provide detailed instructions to donor during collection process

• Verify validity of specimen prior to accepting specimen and sending to lab for testing

• Complete chain of custody form during the collection process.

• Knows when and how to perform an observed collection

• Contacts MRO Assistant for assistance in problem collections as needed


Administrative Support:

• Set up and run random reports for various clients

• Responds to emails from clients and/or Scheduling Manager, coordinates with clients, updates employee lists, run random, email to clients, finalizes collection all collection details in advance & prepares all necessary paperwork.

• Closing out randoms

• Greet and help customers at the front window

• Fulfill collection kit orders

• Answers phone

• Checks in paperwork and e-mails any refusals or positive alcohols to MRO team

• Gets daily courier package ready, copies logs, updates spreadsheets, faxes any collection-only logs

• Drives student specimens to lab-partner in Lebanon

• Updates client roster adds and deletes, updates database, and file paper copies

• Prepares specimens to ship to lab at the end of each day

• Performs end-of-day cleaning in collection area and office


Urine Drug Screen Collections (DOT)

• Complete DOT urine collection training and become certified as a DOT collector

• Complete all drug screens in accordance with 49 CFR part 40 urine collection guidelines


Breath Alcohol Collections (Non-DOT)

• Perform non-DOT breath alcohol tests as required

• Forward documentation on non-negative breath alcohol test results to MRO Department


Breath Alcohol Collections (DOT)

• Complete DOT Training to be certified as a BAT (Breath Alcohol Technician)

• Complete all breath alcohol testing in accordance with 49 CFR Part 40 guidelines

• Forward documentation on non-negative breath alcohol test results to MRO Department

• Maintain calibrations for breath alcohol instruments


Oral Swabbing

• Certified with oral swabbing

• Perform oral swabs on donors when required

• Additional duties as required


Qualifications required:

• High school diploma; some college or certification in the medical field preferred

• Previous experience utilizing customer service skills

• Prior experience in the drug testing industry preferred


Work Hours: Monday – Friday from 8:00 am – 4:30 pm
