Position Overview


Conduct programs of compensation and job analysis for Community Coffee. Support the overall pricing and market pricing of jobs within a structure, making recommendations on the annual increases to structure as well as the combined impact of job evaluation and merit on individual’s salaries.  This position also provides specialist knowledge on sales compensation and is involved in the design, modeling, and evaluation of sales incentive plans for the organization. 

Function Related Activities/Key Responsibilities

  • Key focus on employee base pay analysis. Support the design and delivery of employee salary structures; provide financial, market, and legal analysis and insights; draft elements of the technical design; draft internal management reports.
  • Support the delivery of job analysis and job evaluation processes and associated scoping data.
  • Support the design and delivery of employee incentive programs; provide relevant financial, operational, and business performance analyses and insights; draft elements of the technical design; draft internal management reports.
  • Support the delivery of the annual total rewards statements and review; provide relevant payroll and market pay analyses; contribute to the drafting of communications and the preparation of management decision-making tools.
  • Resolve queries from internal or external customers or suppliers by providing information on complex processes and the related policies, referring to others where necessary for interpretation of policy.
  • Develop own capabilities by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching; gain or maintain external professional accreditation where relevant to improve performance and fulfill personal potential. Maintain an understanding of relevant technology, external regulation, and industry best practices through ongoing education, attending conferences, and reading specialist media.
  • Develops collaborative relationships with managers to provide guidance and support on Compensation initiatives
  • Carry out complex HR data processing tasks; provide collaborative assistance and support for colleagues when needed and use expertise to help improve data collection tools and administration processes.
  • Will provide support to other HRIS, compensation and benefit programs as needed.
  • May be required to perform additional job duties.

Position Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Information Management/Systems or related field required.
  • Minimum of 1 years experience in the analysis, design, and/or administration of compensation programs.
  • Track record of self-directed, high-value contributions to HR teams and a proactive, strategic approach to compensation.
